Performative technologies and teacher subjectivities: A conceptual framework

Critical educational literature suggests that an increased reliance upon performative technologies is currently transforming the very foundations from which teacher subjectivities are constructed. Arguably though, the number of studies pointing to this risk or tendency is considerably larger than the ones theorising why this should be the case. Further, in those cases where the relationship between performative technologies and teacher subjectivities is theorised, the psychological mechanisms that the technologies appeal to are seldom brought to the fore. Based on this, the purpose of this article is to theorise the psychological mechanisms that performative technologies appeal to and work through, by means of identifying, systematising and elaborating extant understandings of such mechanisms in the critical educational literature. The results are presented in the form of a conceptual framework (referred to as the CMIS-framework) which suggests that one and the same performative technology may play many different roles, where each such role appeals to and works through a particular psychological mechanism. Importantly, depending on the type of psychological mechanism that is appealed to, the CMIS-framework suggests that this will lead to teachers (un)consciously conducting particular forms of subjectivising work upon themselves, here referred to as compliance, mirroring, identification and self-realisation (CMIS).  相似文献

差异化变革型领导、心理授权与组织创造力

主要研究针对整体和个体两个层面的差异化变革型领导对组织创造力的影响,并探索心理授权的中介作用,在文献梳理和理论分析的基础上,提出相关研究假设,结合我国企业创新的实践数据进行实证分析。主要结论包括:首先,相对于针对整体层面的一致性变革型领导,针对个体层面的差异性变革型领导对组织创造力的正向驱动作用更强;其次,心理授权是差异化变革型领导影响组织创造力的重要中介变量;最后,过度的一致性变革型领导方式运用可能会抑制员工的心理授权体验,而差异性变革型领导则对员工心理授权具有较强的促进作用。  相似文献

微博社区成员参与的心理影响因素实证分析

利用逐步多元回归分析法,探明并实证分析了微博社区成员参与行为的心理影响因素。研究发现,成员的自我呈现、感知方便性和感知可信性对他们的参与行为存在显著影响。并且,自我认同和社会强化能显著地影响成员投入到微博社区中的努力。理论层面上,研究结论为下一步参与行为的心理作用路径研究和群体心理与行为研究提供前提;实践层面上,对微博服务提供者经营和管理微博社区以及政府相关部门管理微博具有现实意义。  相似文献

In the Eye of the Beholder: Motivational Effects of Gender Differences in Perceptions of Teachers

This study investigated whether girls’ and boys’ perceptions of their teacher may explain gender-related difference in academic motivation. One hundred and twenty-nine ninth-grade Israeli students (67 males and 62 females) completed a questionnaire designed to assess their motivation to learn, their affect while studying in school, and their perception of their teachers’ behaviors. The results indicate that girls tend to perceive their teacher as more supportive than do boys and that this perception mediates gender-related differences in motivation and emotional experience. This finding suggests a mechanism to explain gender-related differences in motivation and highlights the importance of investigating those characteristics that can affect student perception of the teacher as supportive. Beyond the known contribution of the need for a supportive environment, knowledge of such characteristics can help promote adaptive motivation.  相似文献
